I have a 2013 Fusion that is being recalled due to transmission shifter cable problems. rushed to car and told they just needed to change a small part ( coincidentally-strangely similar named part ). I sent Ford a letter. It has been to the dealership 7 times for hardware replacement and software programming. Vehicle just went over 104k miles, most highway miles. I have a 2016 Ford Fiesta and my car jerks and skids by itself. It is clear from other posts, this problem is all to common. Then transmission failed. Multiple recalls.
